A seven-part online journey into the heart of Huna wisdom
The Seven Principles of Huna offer a timeless map for personal empowerment, balance, and joyful creation. They remind us that we are not separate from life but active participants in shaping it.
Across seven live online sessions, join Stewart Blackburn and Pete Dalton to explore the deeper meanings behind each principle and experience practical ways to live them every day. Through guided journeys, reflective exercises, and lively discussion, you will discover how these principles can help you create a more harmonious and fulfilling life.
Each class explores one of the Seven Principles of Huna, not as abstract ideas, but as living forces that shape your thoughts, emotions, and choices. You will be guided through meditations, journeys, and exercises that help you embody each principle and bring wisdom into action.
Class 1 – Ike: The World Is What You Think It Is
Everything begins with awareness. In this opening session, you will explore how thoughts and beliefs shape the reality you experience, and how changing them transforms your world. Through practical exercises and symbolic imagery, you will learn to recognise the stories you tell about life, reclaim your power to choose meaning, and begin to see life itself as a dream you are co-creating. Discover how responsibility for perception leads to freedom, and how shifting your focus can change everything.
Class 2 – Kala: There Are No Limits
Kala is the principle of freedom. It reminds us that the boundaries we perceive are often self-created. This session explores your infinite nature and how imagination bridges the conscious and higher mind. You will experience contemplations on infinity, a meditative journey to the Waterfall of Forgiveness, and practices for releasing self-imposed restrictions, resentment, and blame. Learn how forgiveness restores energy, reconnects you with your true self, and opens the door to unlimited possibility.
Class 3 – Makia: Energy Flows Where Attention Goes
Makia is about focus, the quiet power behind creation. You will discover how every thought directs energy, how attention determines experience, and how focus can be used for healing, creativity, and joy. Through awareness practices and emotional mapping, you will learn to notice where your attention is drawn, consciously redirect it, and use it to cultivate the feelings you want more of. Makia teaches that happiness, like suffering, begins with where you place your awareness.
Class 4 – Manawa: Now Is the Moment of Power
Power only exists in the present. This class explores how to release the grip of the past and the anxiety of the future, and to root yourself in the creative potential of the Now. Through guided journeys, such as setting sail from the dock of the past, you will learn to let go of old identities and worries, deepen trust, and harness the energy of presence. You will also practise blessing the present as a way of aligning with gratitude and joy, opening the flow for what is next.
Class 5 – Aloha: To Love Is to Be Happy With
Aloha is the essence of Huna and the heart of transformation. In this session, you will cultivate love as a way of being, a deep acceptance and connection with self, others, and the world. You will create your own Garden of Aloha, a symbolic inner landscape where love can grow, and explore the elements of acceptance, connection, and harmony. Learn how love dissolves judgment, strengthens relationship with life itself, and becomes the most effective source of personal power.
Class 6 – Mana: All Power Comes from Within
Mana is the principle of inner authority. You will learn how to reclaim your energy by recognising where you give it away, through self-criticism, guilt, or seeking approval. Through meditative and imaginal practices, you will explore what true power feels like, meet the inner shaman who embodies your strength, and practise the four steps to activating personal power: presence, feeling, clarity, and trust. This session helps you live from choice rather than reaction, embodying your full creative potential.
Class 7 – Pono: Effectiveness Is the Measure of Truth
The final session weaves all the principles together in the spirit of harmony. You will explore Pono as the art of living in balance, making choices guided not by dogma but by what truly works and feels right. Through reflection, guided inner dialogue (Kupono), and symbolic dreamwork, you will learn to recognise what is effective and what is ready to change, restoring balance within yourself and your world. The journey concludes with an invitation to live from alignment, where effectiveness, love, and joy become one.
Your guides for the workshop will be Stewart Blackburn and Pete Dalton.
